Job Description
The Arabian Cement Company in Egypt is currently recruiting for a Safety Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Implement, follow up and enforce the company regulations and standards in Health and Safety and assure its compliance with the related Egyptian laws.
Assure that ACC HSE manual and contractor Safety requirements communicated to all contractors within ACC premises. Issue PTW on daily basis.
Coordinate with ACC contractors to assure proper maintenance and readiness of the plant fire fighting network.
Approve risk assessment submitted by subcontractors.
Conduct HSE induction training to contractors and visitors.
Maintain records necessary to demonstrate conformity to the requirements of its HSE management system (OHSAS 18001/2007 & ISO 14001/2004).
Conduct audits and inspection to the work place to keep ACC proactive in controlling risks and hazards in the work place.
Job Requirements
1-3 years of experience
Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering
Good command of English language
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package
Good reporting skills
Negotiation skills
