Job Description
Citibank in Egypt is currently looking for a Direct Custody and Clearing Operations Head who will be responsible for Managing the Direct Custody and Clearing Operations Department.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Responsible for the day to day management for the department including :
Account opening
Trade Settlement
Corporate Actions
Client Servicing
Tax and Billing
Ensure department is adequately staffed to meet regulatory and client requirements
Set long term goals for the department considering regional and products tasks
Identify and develop talent within the department. Build succession pipeline for critical roles
Work with product partners to ensure seamless delivery of service to clients
Constantly monitor department for efficiencies
Be responsible for the department’s annual budget
Be the point of contact for the local SCOO and the regional chain
Job Requirements
University degree.
Min of 6 years of experience of Custodial Services
PC literate (Excel, word, and Power Point)
Fluent in English language, written and spoken.
Job Specific Skills
Ability to work under pressure.
Energetic, excellent communication and time management skills.
Multi task oriented.
Excellent managerial skills.
