Nile Air Egypt is currently seeking a Marketing Manager who will be responsible for the following tasks
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
The position involves the planning and implementation of the annual Nile Air marketing budgets
Initiates marketing and advertising campaigns to promote brand awareness and support sales
Works with advertising agency in creative and placement of all ads for Nile Air
Contributes to the development of promotional materials and coordinates the marketing of Nile Air Vacation Packages with the applicable vendor.
Creates and supplies POS information and sales collateral
Prepares and distributes trade newsletters in coordination with Sales
Creates and proofs marketing promotional pieces and collateral to ensure accurate information.
Administers and maintains Nile Air’s promotional database including agent/consumer promotions, coupons, E-Certificates.
Processes promotional event fulfillment pieces and coordinates with the other applicable departments in the areas of trouble-shooting, service recovery and/or booking related issues.
Produce reports and payments to outside companies/individuals in support of third party revenue opportunities as it relates to marketing and advertising
Researches, produces and distributes reports pertaining to assigned responsibilities.
Complies with all corporate and departmental policies/procedures and applicable governmental regulations.
Organize and coordinate marketing events including exhibitions, road show and sponsorship events
Identify media vehicles to create brand awareness within the marketing budget
Work closely with our partner banks credit card department and run campaigns
Work closely with our loyalty program partner to increase retail sales
Identify new partners through Loyalty program partner and run campaigns
Quantify marketing activities and analyze ROI
Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and analysis
Job Requirements
University degree required; Marketing degree preferred: or 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
An experienced marketing specialist - preferably within travel, is required with either academic or trade marketing qualifications.
A creative and practical marketing approach is required at both a tactical and strategic level and knowledge of both traditional and on line marketing techniques is a requirement.
A keen understanding in the various disciplines of marketing communication and media including market segmentation, product offer development etc.
Must be a creative problem-solver willing and able to accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must have strong decision making skills and a sense of self-guidance and reliance.
Demonstrated high level of proficiency in oral and written Arabic and English
Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Must be detail-orientated and analytical.
Must deal with change, be comfortable with uncertainty and working in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment and must meet deadlines
Must be computer literate (Microsoft Applications); Database creation and retrieval, Excel, Graphing, Word, and PowerPoint.
Leader, motivator, self starter, analytical, independent thinker, works well in a team environment, and flexible in the application of corporate strategies.
