Etihad Airways Fleet Engineering are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join the team at Officer level.
As Technical Records Officer you will add value by being responsible and ensuring that the Aircraft and its associated components, equipment and maintenance records are maintained and updated to meet all relevant CAR M requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Receive, review and archive maintenance records.
Update logbooks.
Update various binders managed by Technical Records.
Issue and follow up Discrepancy Reports.
Ensure availability of Form 1’s for all components installed on Etihad Fleet.
Prepare and issue various reports such as Aircraft Utilization report, Engine/APU utilization report, Engine / APU LLP Status reports, etc.
Liaises with colleagues within and outside Technical Records to ensure availability of up to date and correct Maintenance Records.
Provide support to compile records for Aircraft transfers.
Provides recommendations and improvements of technical procedures and processes.
May be required to lead a small team of Technical Assistants/ Office Helpers
Audit Work Packs to ensure its completeness and correctness
Manage projects as directed by Lead Engineer
Able to deputize Lead Engineer during his/her absence.
May be required to lead a small team of Technical Assistants/ Office Helpers.
Job Requirements
Tertiary qualifications that meet the eligibility requirements for membership as a chartered engineer (e.g. Bachelor degree in the field of Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic engineering) with a minimum of 2-year job related experience, or Diploma / Aircraft Maintenance License with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Thorough understanding of EASA/CAR OPS and EASA/ CAR Part M and Part 145 regulations.
Formal Technical training (Gen Fam course is acceptable) on Etihad aircraft types.
Aircraft Maintenance License preferred.
Understanding of EASA/CAR OPS and EASA/ CAR Part M and Part 145 regulations.
