Job Description
Alahli Bank of Kuwait - ABK in United Arab Emirates is currently looking for a Assistant Manager, Financial Institutions to actively assist in developing and maintaining business relationships with financial institutions, thereby achieving departmental revenues.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Relationship Management: Maintain healthy working relationships with financial institutions; seek and review business opportunities, approach and present financial institutions with banking products in line with ABK’s policies and provide assistance in negotiation etc.
Credit Analysis: Prepare credit applications for business proposals / country & bank limits; address credit and other related queries on credit proposals.
Portfolio Management: Assist in the portfolio / account management process; co-ordinate with Operations and other internal departments on operational aspects of business transactions; analyse business transacted with banks; execute risk participation deals, monitor approval terms and conditions, etc.
Revenues and Targets: Understand specifics of annual targets as allocated by the Division Head and assist in maximization of profits and revenue generation.
Reports and Compliance: Provide timely reports to senior management on monthly activities, issues and closures; assist in undertaking periodic KYC and due diligence exercises; ensure adherence to compliance regulations of the relevant regulators (CBK, CB-UAE, DFSA, etc.) and other international banks.
Job Requirements
Minimum 5 years banking sector experience
Experience in financial institutions or international banking
Experience of supporting client management
Experience in credit analysis, credit review and portfolio management
