    The role of the Contracts Executive is To Support the centralised solution for hotel relationships with dnata by proactively developing and managing a network of leisure product and service providers in the sub-region assigned. As a single point of contact for hotel partners, DMCs and other land suppliers on behalf of dnata Travel and its affiliate companies, leverage technology to achieve seamless connectivity with hotel partners to drive room night production.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Work with Purchasing Managers/Executives and loaders to ensure all products are loaded in a proper and timely manner in accordance with best practice and business needs, ensuring systems are regularly checked to maintain rate integrity and continuity of supply and monitor loading progress from Tracker bearing in mind commercial needs.

    • Handle all customer service and accounts issues relating to products ensuring requests are confirmed and losses minimised where possible.

    • Run and check reports to maintain availability of stock and identify regular ?Stopsale? offenders to the relevant Product Manager.

    • Work with Purchasing Managers/Executives and brands to ensure all queries of whatever type are handled and resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

    • Work with Purchasing Managers/Executives to ensure that all contracts are issued and received in a timely manner and appropriate records are kept, including appropriate H & S information.

    • Support Purchasing Managers/Executives in procuring the best rate & allocation practice in all areas of responsibility ensuring we receive the most competitive deals in the market place.

    • Assist Purchasing Managers/Executives in maximising commercial return on relationships.

    • Conduct Competitor analysis and awareness providing accurate information to Purchasing Managers/Executives, produce MI stats for Product Managers as required.

    • Liaise with the Product team to ensure a high standard of content. Maintain records of brochure contributions and ensure agreements are issued and returned, and invoices issued.

    • Assist with general product management including the monitoring and reporting of sales on a weekly basis.

    • Assist Purchasing Managers/Executives with marketing requests and tourist board relationships. Work in partnership with in-house Commercial Managers to secure marketing funds & tactical offers from Suppliers for promotional activitiesfor their respective brands. Conduct exclusive tactical negotiations with suppliers on an on-going basis and feedback to Commercial Managers.

    • Ensure errata are issued as appropriate for all changes and building work etc, ensuring appropriate action is taken to advise clients, both current and potential, in accordance with legislation.

    • Maintain an accurate record of special offers for Purchasing Managers/Executives and ensure distribution to appropriate commercial teams on a regular basis.

    • Deputise for Product Managers on weekly calls as required.

    • Attend trade functions as required by the Product Managers and in accordance with business needs.

    • Offer such assistance as may from time to time be requested by the Product Managers.

    • Implement the Health and Safety procedures as determined by the Company.


    Job Requirements

    • Degree or Honours (12 + 3 or equivalent) in a business, tourism or sales maangement subject.

    • 3+yrs experience in tourism industry.

    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

    • Self-motivated and self-disciplined; able to work to tight deadlines.

    • Ambitious and results orientated witht the resilience and determination to achieve success.

    • Able to work on own initiative and contribute positively to the team environment.

    • Confident and competent in establishing relationships with key suppliers.

    • Adaptability and the ability to cope with frequent change requirements.

    • Understanding of Travel Technologies and the industry as a whole.

    • Strong work ethic and a real commitment to continous improvement

    • Highly proficiency levels in working with Microsoft office products and Demonstrable analytic skills.

    • Excellent written and oral English language skills; other languages would be an advanage based on assgined region(s).

    • It would be advantageous to be multi-lingual.
