Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Proactively support the working relationships with direct Schneider Electric accounts (i.e., Sales– Inside and Outside, Project Coordination, Order Fulfillment, Technical Support for both single- and three-phase product lines, USC Parts) and Manufacturer’s Representatives
Manage Service Delivery Specialists whom are responsible for optimizing time and efficiency of Field Service Representatives.
Coaching and Developing existing team members.
Recruiting new team members, if required.
Manage the travel of FSR’s to ensure optimization.
Develop Business Plans to drive continuous growth within the organization.
Managing and Maintaining adherence to Service Center Territory guidelines.
Manage the Qualification Status of FSR's within their region.
Conduct weekly operational meetings to discuss FSR qualifications, utilization, etc
Work with other departments within Schneider Electric to facilitate on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
Develop and maintain professional working relationships with vendors, sales personnel and manufacturer representatives to ensure implementation of agreed-upon contractual obligations
Manage site resources by planning, scheduling and forecasting manpower requirements.
Provide up-front sales support, as needed, during the project quotation and preparation phase to ensure specification compliance from an execution standpoint
Validate the requested or required statement of work and contract terms with the customer, including both technical and commercial elements; serves as primary contact with customer
Elicit regular feedback from customers with the ultimate goal of maintaining solid relationships. Develop and maintain a fundamental knowledge and understanding of Schneider Electric products, processes and terminology in order to effectively communicate with customers regarding these aspects of our business.
Take care of the competencies of their FSR, and to propose to the Site FS Manager a training plan (soft and technical skills) on yearly basis. The same being updated in the team competency matrix.
Be responsible for their team efficiency and to suggest any action plan to improve/secure it.
Be responsible for their team Safety Audit and safety training program
Motivate their team to achieve the targets for the Traceability and Lead Generation programs
Be responsible for their team schedule plan and mobilization with intimation to the Site FS Coordinator
Be the direct correspondent for any sites service calls for customers under responsibility
Be in charge to issue all documents related to the Site FS activity (MOS, Risk assessment matrix, Job safety analysis…)
Cooperate between Team Leaders to have the necessary flexibility in allocating their resources
Support Sales / Tendering / Engineering and Project teams for any site support activities such as estimation of man days, technical related support
Submit and check on time the Time sheets / Service reports / Test sheets to the Site FS Coordinator for the purpose of invoicing
Job Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering with 10 years experience
Experience in MV/ LV / Protection Relays installation, testing, commissioning
Must have good communication and interfacing skills.
Should be fit to travel frequently in Gulf Countries + ROW.
Experience in previous role as an FSR is essential as an added advantage
Fluent in English
Ability to Identify and Solve problems
Interfacing with suppliers on the works to clarify technical matters and resolving all related problems of MV/LV / Proetection relays
