    Job Description

    Department: Directorate of Quality Assurance, Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation

    ​To develop and operate quality assurance procedures to ensure that the taught programs and other university operations are regularly evaluated and improved in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's criteria for institutional effectiveness. To be responsible for ensuring the establishment, monitoring and reviewing of the university's quality assurance procedure, that quality procedures are conducted at the appropriate time and providing analysis/summary of the information as required.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Consult with, train, and support colleges and administrative units staff regarding the development of quality assurance policies and procedures, including the development of academic program mission statements, goals, assessment techniques, methods of analysis, and the completion of their annual Quality Assurance reports.

    • Responsible for the implementation of Taskstream, a web-based lE documentation system, to streamline assessment management activities across the institution.

    • Prepare manuals, guides and provide technical support to faculty and staff regarding the web-based lE documentation system.

    • Monitor the web-based lE documentation system; work with colleges and administrative department's representatives to ensure timely and correct completion of IE forms and provide onsite assistance and planning where necessary.

    • Participate in the development and implementation of Program Evaluation and Assessment processes to evaluate programs and services for continuous improvements.

    • Coordinate collection of Course and Program Assessment Reports and Program Review Reports. Also coordinate collection of Faculty Credentials report.

    • Compile effectiveness reports.

    • Promote and disseminate lE information throughout the University.

    • Maintain archives of lE reports and feedback.

    • Establish timelines for lE activities and processes.

    • Conduct workshops and plan development programs and resources that will assist faculty on improving assessment practices.

    Job Requirements

    • University degree in a suitable area.

    • Must have experience in institutional effectiveness activities.

    • Relevant Experience: 1 or more

    • Excellent verbal and written communication in business in both Arabic and English.

    • Proficiency in MS office applications.

    • Team work.
