Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Detailed knowledge of numerical protection relays, like Siemens SIP4 & 5, REYROLLE and other make protection & control products.
Understand the nature of Design & Engineering tasks in Electrical HV/MV Substations
Design and preparation of protection panels in Ebase & ELCAD (as applicable) for EM DG CS&D SYS projects including all necessary documentation like BOQ, Relay List, AC/DC Load calculation, Heat Dissipation, CT/VT adequacy check, etc.
Coordination with clients/consultants in association with project manager for approval of project documentations.
Preparation of Issued for Construction (IFC), As Manufactured and As Built Drawings
Software Knowledge: Ebase (Engineering Base) & Elcad
Job Requirements
Degree Holder - Electrical Engineer
3 to 5 years experience in Design & engineering of protection & substation control systems.
2 years of understanding processes related to project execution, in particular engineering tasks.
2 years of professionally dealing with people of various different cultural background specially in Middle East
