    Job Description

    The main purpose of the job is to Ensure to accurate payment process to vendors, internal customers and maintain accounting details with high accuracy all the time.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Checking Prepaid Schedules & CBDRS Prepaid Schedules and Ensuring the subsidiary ledger Matching with GL

    • Daily Updated & Balancing the Reports for Sundry Accounts, Prepaid Expenses, Receivable & payable, Manager Chq.

    • Ensuring Depreciation For Fixed Assets Processed Correctly in Books and Updated

    • Daily checking of Manager Cheque Accounts For Branches & Head Office

    • Addition, Depreciation of Fixed Assets, Transfers & Retirement of Fixed Assets for Head Office & Branches performing accurately.

    • Maintaining Records in Soft copies of invoices which is Capitalized in fixed Assets Books For H.O & Branches For Easy access

    • Answering the Branches and HO Departments inquiry Regarding Expenses Provide high level of customer service by answering H.O. & Branch enquiries for accounting entries posted, promptly and efficiently to enhance the customer satisfaction

    • Identifying General Ledger Expense Accounts For Booking of Expense/Fixed Assets & Others

    • Learn and gain general awareness about the functions, specific processes and procedures to build up capabilities and ensure preparedness to discharge assigned responsibilities. Perform straight forward processes accurately under supervision to ensure the work is satisfactorily accomplished.

    • Input and process vendor payments, staff reimbursement claims and other related adjustment accounting entries in the system with accuracy.

    • Prepare and Maintain Prepaid Expense Schedules.

    • Provide support in answering the inquiries received from internal customers and vendors.

    Job Requirements

    • UAE National Only

    • Graduate in Accounting / Finance / Commerce discipline.

    • 3 years’ experience in finance / accounts functions preferably in a Bank.

    • Knowledge of accounting procedures

    • Working knowledge in Microsoft Excel (Not just input)

    • Good command of English. Arabic language would be an added advantage.

    • Planning and organizing skills

    • Communications skills.

    • Numeracy and accuracy
