Kuwait Airways is recruiting for the role of Pharmacist
Kuwait Airways (KU: IATA, KAC: ICAO) is the official national carrier of the State of Kuwait.
Established in 1953 as a private company, the airline was initially 50 per cent owned by the Kuwaiti government. In 1962, the government assumed 100 per cent ownership, making it the longest serving, official state carrier operating from the Arabian Gulf Region. Kuwait Airways employs over 5,800 people, and the head office is in the heart of Kuwait City, close to Kuwait International Airport (KWI).
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Supervises the activities of assigned personnel. Performs supervisory duties and exercises financial authority at the level established by Management for the position.
Provides the patients with commonly prescribed medicines. Includes proper preparation of packing, instructing the patient as to the proper use of the medicines both verbally and in writing.
Ensures continuous supply of medicines and other related items after consulting the Manager, Medical Centre. Includes obtaining required quantities and qualities from the Stores of the Ministry of Public Health or private suppliers, preparing the requisition forms and other related formalities. Monitors stocks and ensures adequate and regular supply of different items to avoid any sudden shortage. Follows up on the expiry dates of medicines and ensures that only valid ones are in stock.
Job Requirements
Internationally recognized qualification to practice as a Pharmacist.
5 years' experience as a Pharmacist.
