Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world’s largest global wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.
Be responsible for generation of new business opportunities. The role entails implementing purely new business skills for effective and better results through relationship management in companies under the CEP List. An integral part of the role would also include building market position by locating, developing, defining and negotiating RBWM product solutions for the employees of our existing corporate clients. Apart from increasing penetration within the company, the BDM is the key point of interface between different departments within the bank and the companies and plays an important role in the elimination of risk, both in terms of operation and credit point of view. The BDM also acts as a prime pillar of support for the Distribution channels: DST, TPSA, Branches, CSUs, Mortgage, for achieving their AOP
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Position the Bank as the “Natural Choice” provider to maximize the levels of RBWM Business generation from the CEP relationships.
Optimize Customer satisfaction and ensure a professional business development culture is maintained.
Increase awareness of various product & propositions in the CEP companies by working with Marketing, RBWM central team and other internal business groups to create acquisition opportunities via customer events and open days.
Enhance Efficiency, ensure generic application of procedures and maintain credit quality.
Ensure compliance with Group policies and Regulatory requirements: Money laundering and deterrence and local regulations
Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets.
Job Requirements
A full understanding of the RBWM products (propositions) and services, including the global service standards, and the ability to communicate this effectively to customers
Proven experience selling to and working with high net worth individuals
Knowledge of developing a networking strategy and proven ability to achieve sales targets
Knowledge of competitor activity and propositions
Strong understanding of HSBC Group, including cross business awareness
Strong communications and interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation skills
