ProService is proudly announcing our new Virtual Summer Internship.

PS Virtual Summer Internship is only for the Motivated Electrical & Mechanical Power Students (3rd Year).

To be selected and be our PS Intern, you’ve three main screening phases to pass through:

1. Problem Solving Test (Technical test mainly in Electrical / Mechanical modules).

2. HR Interview.

3. Technical Presentation & Discussion.

It will be divided into two majors:

• Academic sessions to cover the theoretical knowledge.

• Practical training under supervision of PS Engineers in the Tendering/ Technical Office/ Planning/ Execution/ Maintenance/ Sales and Business Development Departments in PS divisions.

ACADEMIC TRAINING OUTLINE

• Primavera Project Management.

• Mechanical Specialized Training:

  1. HVAC System.

  2. Plumbing System.

  3. Firefighting System.

• Electrical Specialized Training:

  1. Electrical power (distribution electrical systems).

  2. HVAC control.

  3. Light current systems.

• Waste Water treatment plants module.

• Maintenance & Facility Management modules.

• Tendering and cost estimation modules.

• Sales and Business Development modules.

• Revit MEP.

• AutoCAD Drafting.

• Interview Skills and CV Writing Module.

Duties and Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

• Students shall be treated as on the job interns; whereby specific tasks shall be assigned to them as appropriate to their level of knowledge as indicated in the training profile.

• It is the sole responsibility of students to seek knowledge and understand all matters in their assigned tasks.

• Students shall be allocated proper training websites/ material as a result of our training modules.

• Students shall present individual/ group assignments and final project at the end of the internship programs.

• FINAL REPORT & PRESENTATIONS:

• Students shall prepare a technical report/ project at the end of their internship program, summarizing all the works and/or tasks performed and analyzed during the internship.

• The report/ project shall include copies of original project documents and drawings where possible.

• A power point/ Prezi presentation summarizing all performed work and activities, supported by photos and pictures of the actual industrial facility and/or simulations of work done at the technical office, is also required.

• Students shall submit their reports and deliver their presentations, in the presence of ProService panel.

• Students shall be ready to respond to any requests for clarifications and/or questions raised by ProService panel.

• Summer internships are Pass/Fail modules, and carry no credit weight; however, students will not graduate and attain their certificates without successfully satisfying the examining committee of their exerted effort and amount of attained technical and/or practical skills and information during their internship period.

Job Requirements

• You’re an Electrical/ Mechanical Power Students (3rd Year) from a reputable university.

• You are available to attend our PS Virtual Summer Internship; as it will start on 5th August and continued till 1st October.

• You have a stable internet connection and capable personal computer for attending online sessions and responding appropriately to periodical assignments.
