Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
The role holder is responsible for marketing and developing new business based on thorough market understanding, analysis and bank’s appetite from MENA, Turkey and Asian Subcontinent. The role holder is required to use a range of competencies and skills relating to service delivery.
Access the identified international markets for opportunities in allocated segments .Apply for necessary credit approval and book approved transactions
Ensure preparation of compelling proposals that will meet the bank policies and customer needs and negotiate their acceptance
Ensure that appropriate risk analysis and risk/returns assessment is carried out to recommend timely remedial actions, wherever appropriate
Proactively manage relationships with customers and take personal responsibility for the establishment and maintenance of key relationships to leverage business achievement
Regularly review account performance and make appropriate recommendations for optimizing returns
Job Requirements
UAE Nationals only
Bachelors preferably in Business/Economics/Finance from a recognized institution
Masters/MBA/CFA/CPA qualification is desirable
Thorough understanding and hands on experience across Trade finance; Syndications and Loans and Correspondent banking products suite
Detailed credit analysis skills are required to run analysis on FI’s /Sovereigns/Corporates
Good understanding of AML and Compliance regulations is highly desirable
