Job Description
Execute and perform all matters related and Business Continuity Management functions such as scheduling tasks, issuing and reviewing adequate reports in timely manner. Adhering to BCM policies of the bank, CBE and local authorities’ requirements. Assist and support the Head of ORM, BCM & FR in planning, implementation and follow up of all Business Continuity Management.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Assists the Head of ORM, BCM and FR in providing that all significant Business Continuity Issues identified and assessed in order to successfully achieve the departments' objectives.
Assists the Head of ORM, BCM and FR to plan BCM activities, new projects assigned with different level of management in the Bank.
Assists in promoting and help to embed Business Continuity awareness and the process into the culture to enhance the Business Continuity profile of the bank
Broaden the bank staff knowledge concerning BCM through all possible channels and develops the competencies required to perform their jobs.
Assists in ad hoc investigations and troubleshooting for BCM incidents.
Assist Head of ORM, BCM and FR in liaising and managing relationships with regulators, internal and external auditors.
Assist Head of ORM, BCM and FR in overseeing compliance with CBE laws and regulations as well as FAB policies and procedures
Guiding, Training and Supervising BCM coordinators embedded in each Business Unit and Branches.
Follow up and coordinate with Group BCM for Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Plans, Exercise Scripts Approval and Closure.
Follow-up and assist the Regional office departments / Branches in conducting Business Impact Analysis, plans development and maintenance, and plans testing
Follow up with the departments and branches for updates related to the BCP.
Follow up with the departments and branches for incidents and its reports.
Ensure Proper Follow-up for Regular Updates for Call tree, BCM findings & DR test results action plans
Job Requirements
University Graduate with minimum experience of 2-5 years in the fields of Business Continuity.
Continuous learning and knowledge development in the fields of business continuity as well as all operational fields.
Very Good command of English language, adequate knowledge of BCM functions, ability to work under pressure, independently, with good time management ; creativity and planning; Experience in banking operations ; Fully aware of bank's policies, manuals, CBE regulations and RO and HO guidelines;
