Job Description
To provide quality service to business units through undertaking risk assessment analysis of various types of financing proposals. To monitor credit worthiness of obligor/ counterparties once the lines are put in place
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Risk Management & Credit Analyst
Support Division Heads and SRMs in the review and preparation, where applicable of TMs, RACs, Greenlight memos and credit applications
Support Customer Service Unit in the approval of availment memos for transactions and liaise with the approving officers for sanction
Carry out initial market checking and monitor credit worthiness of obligors/counterparties including search for negative press articles, rating agencies.
Assess financing requirements, analyze client’s financial position, including identification of related risk and their justification
Perform financial analysis and modelling and quantitative analysis for credit applications
Complete Management Assessments and BIRs
Participate in pre-CA meetings with Risk and other teams as applicable
Prepare necessary security and other documents in liaison with Legal & Sharia Department
Ensure fulfilment of all required documentation (incl. insurance) as per the banks credit policies and procedures
Liaise with CAD as required during preparation of CA packages
Ensure that current TM , CA templates and other systems and procedures are complied with
Stay informed about risk, legal, compliance and market issues that may impact the approval od a credit
Ensure all deferred documentation is tracked and obtained on time
Assist with annual renewals and ensure that facilities are renewed on time
Relationship Management
Manage up to 4 liability only clients if allocated
Achieve financial targets assigned in line with portfolio handled (e.g. total revenues, revenue from treasury products, revenue from cash management, RORC, etc.)
Ensure regular interaction with clients to address any banking/financial needs and increase ADIB share of wallet
Work closely with customer service unit to ensure that clients’ day to day transaction needs are addressed
Process Implementation
Conduct client calls at least quarterly
Document call memos in standard format capturing the contents of the meeting, opportunities for business development, client’s financial plan, etc
Develop account plans for each relationship and use it as a basis for regular client calling; keep account plans updated
Ensure that all new deals in discussion are recorded and updated in deals in pipeline report on a weekly basis
Compliance
Ensure that activities are in full compliance of group policies and processes including Sharia requirements, Central Bank regulations and other internal Legal and Compliance regulations at all times

Job Requirements
A high level of numeracy and analytical (both qualitative and quantitative) skills
Credit Risk experience (2 years+) from ADIB MA program
Strong MS office skill sets (esp. Excel)
Knowledge of all banking products
Knowledge of Islamic/sharia complaint banking products/ Practices
Understanding of WBG business
