Job Description
Product Manager BBD is responsible for commercializing BBD products and strategies. This individual interfaces extensively with all levels and functions related to Trade, Finance, Cards, Cash Management and ADIB Direct Solutions to facilitate the mission RMs and Sales to upsell and cross-sell BBD solutions. The product commercialization encompasses the implementation and rollout of BBD Solutions in terms of sales tools, guides, processes, and product programs.
The Product Manager BBD should work closely with Relationship Management team as well as other stakeholders to deliver on projects that are typically highly complex, strategic and cross-functional in nature.
Support the Head of Products and Marketing – GTB Business Banking to create commercialization and go-to-market strategies. This requires continually to be focused on ensuring that BBD products and solutions are successfully deployed within Business Banking segments to meet customer needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Commercialization
Enhance BBD product value proposition and delivery channels
Develop sales playbooks / guides
Optimize processes in coordination with product / operations owners
Commercialize roll-out and utilization plans
Lead Promotions of BBD products in coordination with product marketing manager to create internal and external marketing materials
Liaise with concerned departments to sign-off official documents of assigned products and services
Sales Support
Working hand-in-hand with Business Banking Relationship Management team to implement complex business deals
The role holder must be a catalyst for development of new solutions leveraging BBD capabilities
Based on sales / customer’s voice, provide inputs into pricing and products features
Market research and competitor intelligence
Analyze markets and products to identify business opportunities and generate new business ideas in business banking
Training and sales support
Create training materials of Business Banking products to provide front-liners with required knowledge
Address any sales enquiries/complaints generated from front-liners
Job Requirements
Five to seven years of working experience in the banking industry, preferably in the GCC or UAE
Related experience in project management, processes management, business development, information technology and operations
Relevant University degree in Business or Finance or IT
Understand the cash management and digital dynamics and ability to transform processes
Understand Business banking segment in terms of customer’s persona and journey
Good knowledge of UAE Banking practices, Regulations and Risks
Sales process design skills
Time management skills
Communication and interaction skills
