Job Description
As a trainee auditor, participate in risk-based and client-focused audits under the supervisor of the Senior Auditors and Audit Managers. Assist Senior Auditors and Audit Managers in audit planning; control testing, report writing, follow-up of corrective action plan and maintaining working papers. Assist Head of O&T Audit maintaining Corrective Action Plan database.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Participate in internal audit engagements as audit trainee to learn basics of internal audit process.
Assist Lead Reviewer, Audit Manager and Senior Auditors in audit planning, control testing during the fieldwork, work paper preparation and maintenance, drafting findings, and corrective action follow-up and monitoring.
Join audit team’s discussions and meetings with the auditee management and staff members.
Assist Head of O&T Audit maintaining Corrective Action Plan database.
Carry out specific / additional tasks provided by the Global Head of Audit, Head of O&T Audit and other senior ARR personnel.
Engage and build a trusted relationship with the audit team and management.
Meet the requirements of individual development plan through pursuing certifications in internal audit (e.g. Certified Internal Auditor) and attending training programs.
Strict adherence to the guidelines and requirements set forth by ADIB Academy for MAs
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or Finance from a recognized institution
High degree of analytical, reasoning/judgmental skills
Excellent communication (writing & verbal) skills
PC literate
