Job Description
We are looking for a committed, deadline-driven Sales Intern to join our Sales team. You will reach out to prospective clients, including send out sales communications via email and LinkedIn, phone calls and online presentations. You will also be tasked to help identify and track sales leads, generate sales reporting, evaluate success, trends and failures of sales campaigns, assist with sales forecasting, strategies and tactics. You must possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to work comfortably under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Research and generate lists of potential customers
Provide input on customer briefs, presentations, and sales literature
Maintain sales records
Learn different aspects of the sales cycle
Enter and update client information in CRM
Organize client contact lists and schedules
Assist Sales Manager and associates to achieve sales objectives.
Job Requirements
Sales, Advertising, Marketing, or Business major
Demonstrable experience with building effective client databases
Proficient in using and creating CRM
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent interpersonal, communication and public speaking skills
