Kuwait Finance House - KFH is currently recruiting for the role of Network Security Support Analyst
To execute the planed day-to-day operations of the Security Support team within the defined IT strategy and provide IT security support services for KFH group to assure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the computing security in accord with established policies, defined service level agreements and quality standards..
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
IT Security Operations
Assist in running the planning, development, and implementation of the planed initiatives for maintenance of the IT operating environment in coordination with KFH IT functions, ensuring compliance to security regulations.
Ensure effective coordination with other IT operations and support team to manage the first line support of security while liaising with IT Infrastructure and Security Design, ISM or vendors for second line support where needed ensuring optimum customer satisfaction.
Participate in and support security project management and implementations and data centers’ security to provide the Bank with high available, secure, efficient, cost effective and integrated IT infrastructure.
Assist in deploying compliance requirements as PCI-DSS compliance or any other mandated requirements.
Coordinate with Change Control on different requests, including IT security services problems, incidents, change requests, enhancements, improvement requests, DR drill planning and execution, etc. and ensure the provision of timely support to achieve customer satisfaction.
Assist to register the required updates on Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for IT security part done by IT security support staff as designed.
Participate effectively on Disaster Recovery (DR) Drill testing as per plan and schedules in accord with established procedures to support business continuity.
Assist in enforcing the enterprise’s network security polices and ensuring that the enterprise complies with all requirements placed on it.
Provide assistance and guidance in the design and implementation of security procedures and processes in computer and communication hardware, operating system software and productivity tools.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
4 years of experience in IT with exposure to system development and IT security support/ management, preferably with a large organization in the financial sector.
Good understanding and knowledge of software and hardware applications.
Good knowledge of banking systems and processes as well as regulatory requirements.
Good working knowledge of IT services support, network, security, security standards, security tools and components, business continuity and disaster recovery procedures within a banking environment.
Ability to work under pressure, being On Call 24 X 7 (whenever assigned) and adjust quickly to changing priorities.
