Kuwait Finance House - KFH is currently recruiting for the role of IT Infrastructure Support Analyst
To assist in providing planning, solutions and maintenance support for IT infrastructure to facilitate the achievement of reliability and security of KFH IT infrastructure in accordance with defined business requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
IT Infrastructure Support Management
Assist in implementing troubleshooting services and workarounds for assigned hardware (incl. servers, storage, ATM switch and backup components) that face issues in coordination with IT Infrastructure where required to achieve operational capability and business continuity.
Coordinate with IT Infrastructure technical team for Infrastructure changes, enhancements, and upgrades to facilitate high availability of IT systems.
Monitor the performance of Infrastructure components to ensure effective functioning in accordance with established procedures.
Liaise with IT Infrastructure to initiate proactive actions by tuning and re-organizing the Infrastructure components to optimize usage.
Follow up and assist in resolving all the agreed Infrastructure security or audit observations with the IT concerned parties.
Contribute to providing input to the development of technical standards, infrastructure hardware (i.e. servers, storage, backup, etc.) and assist in the evaluation of new products and services to make recommendations for Infrastructure upgrades, and enhancements.
Assist in executing the received deployment plans for Infrastructure preparation, changes, or fixes in accordance with defined quality standards and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Participate in the execution of IT infrastructure disaster recovery drill plans and participate in IT infrastructure disaster recovery as per design from IT Infrastructure and Security Design and Business Continuity Plan from Information Security Management to facilitate optimum protection of KFH’s IT Infrastructure and data integrity related with Infrastructure.
Assist in executing backup and restore activities as requested and verify that the activity correction.
Assist in executing the required updates, guards and enhancements in infrastructure components as per requests and plans in all KFH IT environments.Communicate with users to determine and clarify their current and future infrastructure needs and coordinate with IT Infrastructure to develop and recommend enhancements to the current organizational Infrastructure and support the changing business requirements.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
4 years of experience in IT infrastructure support and administration, preferably with a large organization in banking sector.
Good understanding and knowledge of software and hardware applications.
Good knowledge of banking systems and processes as well as regulatory requirements.
Good knowledge of IT services support, Windows, network, security, server, SUN, storages, business continuity and disaster recovery procedures within a banking environment.
Time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure, being On Call 24 X 7 (whenever assigned) and adjust quickly to changing priorities.
Fluent in Both Arabic and English.
