Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - ADIB is currently recruiting for the role of Relationship Manager/Senior Manager - (ADIB Leasing) ADILEASE
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Strategy & Development:
Assists in preparing the standards and performance measures (KPIs) of the Team in line with the top management`s strategic direction, Submits to the Credit & Marketing Director to review and approve.
To Identify and mitigate various risks involved in both pre & post stages of credit approvals.
Functional:
Generate new profitable deals to ADILease & Identifies areas of improvement in ADILease and assist in creating and implementing solutions to provide better services.
Prepares full credit package (new /annual reviews /limit increase proposals for existing lessees as well as preparing for the new cases execution after the credit committee / board approval.
Coordinates with the Risk department in conducting the Initial evaluation of cases referred by marketing team and proposing a deal structure or rejecting unsuitable cases and achieves credit quality goals by maintaining level of credit policy exceptions within prescribed ratios.
Manages, handles and responsible of the team portfolio, targets and its related operations and risks.
Ensure a well-developed and qualified prospect list created by RM/RO, in order to screen proposed customers/activity against Target Market Plan.
Ensure that the team properly coached, trained, supported and guided to exceed targets, enhance profits and deliver first class service to clients.
Participates in the development and implementation of the credit &marketing plan and credit programs for the business segment ensuring the consistency with the overall business plan of ADILease.
Develops existing client relationships, if potential exists and customer satisfaction.
Prepares weekly reports reflecting the weekly performance, forecast and activity, both personal targets and team performance, and submits to the Credit & Marketing Director to review and action corrective action if needed.
People Management:
Conducts performance appraisals sessions of his direct report in due time. Reviews and approves the performance appraisals conducted by his first liners to their subordinates, ensuring a timely, efficient and objective Performance Management process..
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Sales, Business Administration or other relevant degree from a recognized university.
Credit course certificated.
5-12 years in similar position in investment/leasing/ banking or other related financial areas.
General banking experience with a good understanding of banking practices.
Good Accounting knowledge.
Portfolio management and handling all board requirements.
Marketing & Selling Skills.
Islamic banking and systems implementations.
Financial Leasing implementation.
Very good computer skills.
Fluency in Arabic & English (Reading, Writing & Oral).
