Job Description
The CIB Egypt is currently recruiting for the role of Regulatory Reporting Senior Accountant
Review & Supervise the regulatory reports for timely, accurate and fair disclosure according to governing regulations, standards and laws in order to ensure effective and transparent reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Regulatory Reporting Management
Check all regulatory reporting and manage the identification of gaps in the regulatory reports and ensure addressing them with the proper internal and external communications.
Check assets acquired for settlement of debts and authorize its related accounting transactions to ensure accurate reflection in relevant reports.
Check the capital increase process
Check the daily free Market position to be reported properly to CBE
Apply new updates of CBE regulation to put plan for the superiors to apply those updates into the regulatory reports.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers supervisors and other colleagues
Check that the preparer levels perform filing and carefully maintain bank data, documents & forms in an efficient and secure manner and according to bank's SOPs and prevailing regulations.
Follow up project plan for any new regulatory reports or updates.
Day-to-day Operations
Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the Contact Center department to ensure continuity of work.
Compliance
Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree of commerce business administration, accounting or its equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience of banking operations.
Communication skills including the ability to achieving stretching goals set by superiors
Very good command of English language.
Maintain productive relationship with colleagues, partners
Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
