Commercial Banking

Our understanding of long-term economic trends and insight into opportunities on an international level enables us to develop product and services for governments, corporates and institutions.
HOST (HSBC Operations, Services and Technology)
HSBC Operations, Services and Technology (HOST) provides essential operational services, IT and technical support to help the HSBC Group function effectively on a day-to-day basis. We use our expertise and technology to improve the bank’s customer service and efficiency.
HSBC Operations, Services and Technology (HOST) has responsibilities that include: Running customer service operations and business processes from contact centers to payments processing, developing software and applications that underpin HSBC’s banking systems, managing IT systems, infrastructure and support, implementing major strategic change programmes, procuring goods and services for the Group, Managing HSBC’s global corporate real estate portfolio.
Wealth and Personal Banking
Wealth and Personal Banking serves more than 50 million customers worldwide. Our employees help customers to manage their day-to-day finances and save for the future. We offer career opportunities ranging from customer service and relationship management jobs in branches to roles in product development, sales, strategy, asset management and insurance. Generalist, specialist and managerial roles are available at all levels.
Role Purpose
The Graduate Programme is 18 months’ to 2-year rotational programme offering ‘on the job’ training experience in a fast paced dynamic environment for new and recent graduates.
The programme focuses on providing participants with professional development opportunities and real time tailored personal growth opportunities.

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in relevant area with min GPA 2.8/4.0. Calculate GPA online
Knowledge of international business and various industry sectors
Exposure to and appreciation of working in a global environment
Strong ‘team’ skills promoting an environment of co-operation and trust, overcoming resistance where encountered
Possess analytical and financial skills
Good prioritising, organisational and time management abilities
Ability to make decisions
Good verbal and written communications skills
