Mashreq Bank is currently recruiting for the role of Banknotes Specialist
This role is primarily to execute banknotes deals with Financial institutions. Need to make sure that, trades are executed at best possible rate where by increasing the revenue to bank also meeting customer expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
To maintain close contact and relationship with banknotes customers such that we remain one of their main banks
To monitor and manage the demand and supply of FC cash requirements of various clients
Manage the FX risk of banknotes positions with the help of TCM
Achieve monthly/yearly target of banknotes business
Monitor the FC stock at vault and limit the stock within the threshold limit
Monitor the movement of shipments and its settlements.
Keep a close track on shipments, delivery and transit time
Monitor and manage the discrepancies found in the shipments
Meeting/exceeding annual revenue targets
Facilitate cross-functional teams for process improvement
Understand and analyze customer behavior/needs from the market data and competition
Working with market intelligence information
Job Requirements
Preferably a post graduate with 7 to 10 years relevant working experience and in-depth knowledge of banknotes business
Experience in Trade and/or FX products or banknotes products
Informed in market competition, industry practices and regulations for banknotes business
Strong analytical, problem solving, networking and financial management skills.
