ALEXBANK is currently recruiting for the role of IT Program Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Align program goals to ensure individual project goals are aligned with overall organization strategy
Handle programs throughout closure and ensure the successful completion of assigned program
Define resources, deliverables, goals, and milestones to ensure the accurate IT resources capacity planning
Direct and oversee the project’s team and resolve Program conflicts within the assigned projects to ensure a smooth operating environment and avoid delays in the project timelines
Identify and share efficiently in resolving the program technical issues to achieve the project goals within the agreed upon budget and timeline and with the best quality
Ensure proper issue resolution actions are taken, and relevant escalations are being done whenever required
Check & approve projects’ reporting in order to be submitted to stakeholders & ensure the Senior Management awareness of the program’s progress and recommend solutions for the Managements’ checking and approvals
Ensure proper and timely communication flow between PMs and relevant project stakeholders
Ensure project governance methodology is properly applied across all subordinate projects as standard procedures
Participate in the formulation and implementation of the IT Project management strategy to ensure the alignment with bank’s strategy
Supervise the day to day operations of IT Project managers team providing some guidance in the related area, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards
Supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area is carried out in an efficient manner and in compliance with the set policies, processes and procedures
Ensure compliance with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal bank’s policies and code of conduct
Job Requirements
Fluent English Language.
15+ Years of experience.
Excellent organizational skills
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Understanding of complex information and requirements
Good prioritization skills and be flexible enough to adapt plans
Great IT skills combined with a good head for business
Strong knowledge in Project Management tools and techniques
An ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints.
PMP
Agile Certificated Practitioner
ITIL Transition Intermediate Level
Portfolio Management/Program Management is preferred
