    EFG Hermes is currently recruiting for the role of Digital Transformation Officer

    Responsible for developing, implementing and governing ICT strategies in alignment with the firm’s strategy through identifying and analyzing ICT’s organizational and sector-specific strategic issues and options.


    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Develop, implement and manage ICT’s digital strategy to ensure alignment with the firm’s goals and objectives.

    • Establish strong, effective and collaborative partnerships with EFG Hermes’ senior executives, key business area leaders, project managers and subject matter experts to identify specific business opportunities or to address business needs or problems and help build effective and innovative digital solutions.

    • Ensure solutions delivered by providers (both internal and external) are aligned with published ICT’s and the firm’s strategies.

    • Review, analyze and implement continuous improvement to the firm’s ICT strategies and systems

    • Identify and recommend opportunities to influence digital based technology solutions to improve business performance, create value and resolve complex issues across a diverse internal client base by leveraging commercial awareness.

    • Maintain strong knowledge of emerging external trends in digital technology solutions and industry best practice to ensure digital solutions are fit for purpose.


    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.

    • A minimum of 8 - 10 years’ experience in information technology as CDO with at least 4 years in a managerial role.

    • Solid experience in:

    • user centred design and proven strategy development.

    • data analysis, budgeting and business operations.

    • MFI and digital delivery of finance services.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • In depth knowledge and understanding of IT systems and infrastructure.

    • Proven ability to undertake high-level research, horizon scanning and analysis to identify digital trends.

    • Excellent command of Arabic and English.

    • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening): able to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience.

    • Able to build partnerships and work well in teams.

    • Can identify, recommend and implement solutions for problems. Capable of making timely decisions and anticipating consequences.

    • Experience in project management including all elements of resource allocation, scope definition, scheduling, and risk assessment/mitigation.

    • Ensure deliverables are always of a high quality.

    • Ability to manage pressure and prioritizes tasks and workload, while producing quality work in a fast-paced environment with interruptions and deadlines.

    • Demonstrable commitment to customer-focused service to achieve organisational objectives.

    • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, creative and resourceful independent thinker.

    • Has his/her own elevated performance standards and ensures both he/she and the team produce high quality work.
