First Abu Dhabi Bank - FAB is currently recruiting fo the role of Specialist, Payroll & Payments Services
The Payroll Specialist responsibilities include processing monthly, off-cycle and final settlement payrolls and managing Pre/Post Payroll Validations and preparing and processing employee payments, and maintaining accurate payroll records. Manage payroll posting activities and examine and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
Provide inputs and implement policies, systems and procedure for the assigned team so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
Continuous Improvement
Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
Reporting
Prepare sectional statements and reports timely and accurately to meet FAB and department requirements, policies and quality standards.
Payroll & Payments Governance
Manage and reconcile all HR accounts including Outsource company’s accounts
Manage FAB Outsources Company’s financial statement
Manage FAB Outsources companies invoices and payment and track VAT & Mark up
Responsible to track and manage GL entries of monthly provisions and amortization (EOSB, medical insurance etc..)
Act as point of contact with Group Finance and business for any financial matters
Report any risk incident as per the Bank internal guidelines and procedure
Responsible to support Payroll and Accounts auditing and develop measures
Completion of accurate and efficient payrolls, including processing of all required payroll reports and checks
Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions
Manage payroll verification and validations to ensure payroll accuracy target are accomplished
Customer Orientation
The ability to identify current and future customers, understand their current and future needs and respond with relevant and creative solutions. Make FAB the preferred partner for customers and build long term relationships in the best interest of the Bank. A customer may be an external customer, or an internal customer/colleague within FAB.
Persuasion and Influence
The ability to persuade and convince others to take actions beneficial to the Bank and customers. It involves the ability to clearly identify and understand situations, and then respond appropriately when interacting with individuals and groups.
Analyzing and solving problems
Understanding problems by breaking them into smaller parts and identifying risk-return implications in a systematic way. Making logical comparisons of possible outcomes and coming up with the best possible solutions to problems.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related discipline.
3 - 5 years’ accounting /Payroll experience
Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and payroll practices
Experience working with accounting and payroll software, ORACLE, SAP
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High numerical aptitude
