    Gulf Bank of Kuwait is currently recruiting for the role of Officer, Consumer Operations Support

    Carry out smooth processing of account opening applications for Direct Sales/Al-Amil/new GB staff, in addition to payments of Auto Loans and Buyout Loans sold by the Direct Sales Team, adopting best operational practices/processes for delivering timely results, and reports.


    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Account Opening

    • Accurate data entry while opening all types of accounts for Direct Sales, in addition to Al-Amil accounts and GB new recruits accounts received from HR, ensuring checking documents for validity and AML compliance, within the agreed SLAs.

    • Filing documents.

    • Transfer of funds for new Dana accounts during campaigns.

    • DS Operations –Auto Loan

    • Check Loan documents and approve on system

    • Setting holds on accounts for Auto loans amount

    • Transfer of funds to Car Dealers for the processing of car delivery

    • DS Operations –Buyout Loan loans

    • Check the loan documents and information on email

    • Coordination with CRC to remove the held loan amounts

    • Transfer of funds from customer account to Local Banks for the settlement of the buyout loan.

    • DS Operations – Min. Of Justice Transfers

    • Check the documents received from Legal to transfer the requested amount to Central Bank of Kuwait in favor of Ministry of Justices Account.

    • Remove the holds set by Legal Department

    • Transfer the held amounts from customer account to MOJ account with CBK.

    • Send the advices to Legal Dept.


    Job Requirements

    • Diploma/Degree in commerce

    • Good knowledge in back office operations, policies & procedures related to account opening and Auto loans

    • Minimum 1year in Branch Operations

    • Good communication skills in English/Arabic (spoken & written)

    • Delivery oriented & time management skills

    • Analytical thinking and problem solver

    • Should have flair for back office operations and organized thought process

    • Proficient in handling systems

    • Proactive in query resolution
