    the Arab African International Bank is currently recruiting for the role of Tendering Officer - Supply Chain Management – Corporate & Support Services

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Gather the technical, financial, & budget approvals and ensure that they are revised and initially approved by the relevant parties of the bank before starting the tenders / issuing POs.

    • Establish and negotiate offers & contracts terms and conditions and maintain supplier relationships.

    • Lead the negotiation process to gain the maximum bank benefit in terms of cost & quality.

    • Prepare and maintain tendering records, reports and price lists.

    • Invite and assess supplier tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals.

    • Maintain checklist to ensure that the required documents are received from the business for timely finalisation of the POs & contracts.


    Job Requirements

    • Degree in a relevant subject from a recognised university plus some related certification.

    • Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience

    • Good communication and interpersonal skills

    • Good practical and technical skills

    • High level of Attention to details

    • Very Good Negotiation Skills
