Job Description
The Loader Driver is responsible for the safe loading and unloading of bags and cargo from aircrafts, ensuring accurate delivery to and from the aircraft side.
- Sorting, moving, loading, and offloading baggage and cargo as directed.
- Delivering baggage and cargo to aircraft side.
- Collecting handbags from boarding gates.
- Checking cargo holds upon arrival and reporting abnormalities.
- Ensuring secure position of hold nets, ULD locks, and restraints.
- Reporting suspicious objects to superiors or security authorities.
- Adherence to safety and security procedures.
- Reporting hazards and occurrences to the person-in-charge.
- Ensuring personal and team safety.
- Complying with Etihad and customer airline procedures.
- Only performing tasks that have been trained for.
Job Requirements
The applicant must have a UAE light driving license, high school education, English communication skills, multi-cultural work environment, high-pressure work environment, physical fitness, and 24-hour operation availability, as well as the ability to load and offload cargo.
