    Alahli Bank of Kuwait - ABK Egypt is currently seeking a SMS's Utilization Officer.

    the SMS's Utilization Officer will Approve any transaction for corporate and sme customers in accordance with Approvals, credit policy & CBE regulations in order to minimize credit risk and to avoid any financial , regulatory, legal impacts within an acceptable timeframe to insure satisfaction of customers .

    Total exposure to be handled between 1 million to 350 million EGP or equivalent with maximum limits per customer 25 million EGP or equivalent

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Checking purposes of any transaction pre-fact according to the terms and conditions of credit approvals/ Credit policy /CBE banking law

    • Responsible for approving all counter and clearing chqs.

    • Responsible for approving all type of LGs and insuring the existence of cash cover / commission before issuance.

    • Responsible for approving local and foreign transfers.

    • Responsible for approving opening all types of LCs (local and foreign).

    • Ensures obtaining proper approvals in case of any irregularity prior to perform any transaction.

    • Responsible for disbursement of refinance

    • Responsible for approving any form4 or IDC to insure having the related percentage of cash cover

    • Ensures that any excess in the facilities is approved by the appropriate level of approval & follow-up on settlement of excesses with corporate officers.

    • Follows up on target dates to rectify discrepancies through the liaison between the department & corporate heads.

    • Adherence to terms and conditions of credit approvals/ Credit policy /CBE regulations

    • Responsible for follow up and settlement of interest, commissions, and installments related short /medium term loan.

    • Responsible for flagging any of the facilities either to be exempted or no from stamp duty fees.

    • Prepare manual customers’ borrowing positions & the excess tickets prior to submission to lending officers.

    • Custodian of transactional documents ( Trust Receipts / PN) to insure safeguarding banks assets and assuring that customers are in powered to sign such documents according to the companies by-law & responsible for manually check & count of T.Rs on monthly basis .

    • Monitors returned checks from clients as advised by different department to take the necessary actions in case of shortfalls or excess.

    • Identify the commissions for all advance payment checks as per CP and direct the collection to the correct current account.



    • Responsible for Manually Calculating & Creating and monitoring due settlement of ticklers for corporate and sme clients OVD with time intervals to each withdrawal

    • Monitors all advance payment checks and identifies the commissions as per CP.

    • Opens new files for each client including all credit approvals & the daily specially approved transactions.

    • Specifies assignments fees as per CP regarding operation cheques in the name of PBE after decreasing the limit through CFU.

    • Responsible for manual settlements of unpaid discount chqs and follow up settlements

    Job Requirements

    • BA Commerce or equivalent discipline

    • Minimum 1 years’ experience in credit admin to have the full responsibility of the job

    • Knowledge of:

      • Credit admin Knowledge

      • CBE regulations

      • Banking accounts.

      • Bank’s Policies & procedures

      • Core Banking System

      • excel
