Job Description
The British Council UAE is recruiting Parent Liaison Co-ordinators to support the British Council’s globally managed IELTS marketing activity. To work within the IELTS team providing support on projects such as video production, website maintenance, resources development, competitor and business analysis, and the provision of administrative support.
Most YL classes take place on Saturdays from 09.00-12.00 and 13.00-16.30. Semesters are 12 weeks long and last from September – December, January – March and April – June. Some YL classes take place on Fridays or weekdays.
Most adult classes take place between Sunday and Wednesday. There are some morning classes but the majority of students attend in the evening. Some adult classes take place on Fridays and/or Saturdays.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Supervising children before and after classes and during breaks
Providing in-class teacher assistance
Assisting Senior Teacher YLs with marketing of events and marketing activities as appropriate.
Meeting and greeting potential parents and students during registration periods; to act as a point of communication on courses and ensure an appropriate welcome to the British Council.

Job Requirements
The post holder must already have residence in UAE. They must be sponsored by a company or a spouse and must provide a No Objection Certificate.
English: IELTS Band 6.5 or equivalent
Arabic: Level C1 : spoken and written
High school degree
Knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel for data collection, collation, and production of basic charts
Experience of working with children.
