    We are pleased to announce this exciting opportunity to join our Cargo Division. The role of Senior Manager Key Account is designed to build a close commercial relationship with the most important customers (current and future) for Etihad Cargo as defined in the commercial strategy.

    The succesful candidate will Implement and execute Etihad Cargo's commercial strategy globally, by market and customer based on the Etihad Cargo commercial strategy and by segment. They will also Performance manage customers and/or GSA. Furthermore they will deliver sales targets as per strategy and budget.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Execution of cargo’s defined sales strategy by account based data drive segmentation and framework, aligned with Etihad’s policies and procedures

    • Follow all relevant policies, processes and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner

    • Plan and execute a robust sales plans by account in order to deliver the objectives set and agreed. Define, agree and document sales plan activities in salesforce as per agreed process

    • Collect, analyse and consolidate data and market information to support the identification of intervention areas to ensure sales target achievement

    • Analyze the market and customer potential to determine the value of existing and prospective customers and customers business in terms of sales opportunities.

    • Research, gather and analyse products availability in the market to assist in the proposal of new products and services to improve Company sales

    • Negotiate and manage commercial agreements with assigned accounts of trade and corporate segment to ensure sales can be closed, respecting corporate guidelines and indications

    • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with assigned current customers and prospective customers segment to generate revenues for the organization

    • Identify and implement fidelity techniques to ensure a long-lasting fruitful business relationship with major accounts

    • Perform, coordinate and execute sales activities for assigned accounts, Overview and monitor the market and the competitors to ensure established Company sales targets are reached contributing to Company revenue objectives achievement.

    • Communicate and meet regularly with relevant accounts to identify opportunities to grow Etihad cargo business across all product verticals.


    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business management or similar discipline.

    • Ideally with university degree and a postgraduate business MBA.

      A comprehensive air cargo professional, well aware of business complexities.

      Post holder must have min of 10 years air cargo/airline business experience, of which at least 5 in a senior management capacity within an air cargo environment driving and delivering business objectives through best practices.

    Job Specific Skills

    • Fluent in English; additional other language(s) preferred.

    • Strong knowledge of the transport/ aviation industry required.

      Strong financial, commercial and business acumen.

      Strong influencing and negotiation skills.

      Recognised IATA Affiliate.

      Industry leading numeracy skills.

      Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

      Project Management skill.

      Must be computer literate in Word, Excel, Power Point, etc. Knowledge of MS Office applications.
