Job Description
The role of the Base Maintenance Liaison Engineer is To ensure that all scheduled heavy maintenance events are planned and completed in accordance with operational expectations and in line with budget requirements and at the required quality standard.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Ensuring FZ Planning & Technical services departments have produced the necessary work packages and that they are delivered to the MRO in good time.
Conducting pre-input meetings at intervals to suit the maintenance plan.
To ensure that the maintenance provider is delivering in accordance with the contractual terms.
Ensuring that the MRO is meeting the required Quality standards.
Liaison between MRO and FZ Technical services in order to assist in solving aircraft technical problems.
Monitoring the maintenance input from a commercial perspective to ensure it remains on budget.
Monitoring the maintenance input from a commercial perspective to ensure it remains on budget.
Meeting with the MRO during the check to discuss progress against the plan.
Establishing Parts status and ensuring availability.
Assisting FZ QA with Quality investigations.
Producing post check reports.
Job Requirements
Current GCAA CAR 66 AMEL preferably with ratings on 737NG and CFM56-7B or Aeronautical Engineering Degree.
At least 5 years’ experience in a certification or management role associated with heavy maintenance. Relevant experience with control of maintenance tasks using approved documents and MRO systems such as AMOS.
Broad knowledge and experience in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Suite and MRO Systems.
