Job Description
The incumbent in the position is responsible for communication with guest allover the hotel and providing the highest professional services in accordance with the Kempinski quality service standards. She welcomes, attends and farewells hotel guests as a representative of the hotel management. She acts as the “First Lady” of the hotel.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Communication of hotel philosophy and internal/ external hotel representation
Has a complete knowledge of the Hotel including the geographical layout.
Knowledgeable about all VIPs in-house, Hotel functions and special events.
Greets as many guests as possible; all VIP’s is a MUST upon arrival and farewell during departure.
Bids farewell to as many guests as possible and get information about their stay to be entered in their guest history
Interacts with all guests as well as individuals outside the Hotel.
Assumes guest requests and complaints in a polite and efficient manner, gives further instructions to the relevant staff if needed to ensure customer satisfaction and maintains a record of all requests received from all guests. Follows up when necessary.
Informs other operating departments, notably Housekeeping and Food and Beverage Departments on matters that concern them.
Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
Is always present in all the public areas and produces weekly reports.
Attends & participates in daily briefings as scheduled.
To ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported and rectified immediately.
Provides information to all guests regarding the services and offers of the hotel
Keeps the Senior Management updated on the actual atmosphere in the hotel and moods of the guests to ensure the provided services meet the expectations
Job Requirements
1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
Proficient in Micros
English Language proficiency (Preferably Additional Languages)
Concern for quality and attention to details
Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment
Able to work in a fast paced environment and can multitask
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
Flexible in terms of scheduling
Applies a professional, confidential and ethical approach at all times
Able to stand all day
