Job Description
The position is responsible for providing trade and supply chain consultation to external/internal customers and to provide sufficient support for product development/enhancements activities of Trade and Supply Chain product team. Effective management of end to end delivery and troubleshoot on high value trade transactions. Also responsible for actively selling Mashreq corporate online banking platform to trade and supply chain customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Provide advise and consultation to commercial customers related to Trade Finance transactions and more specifically Open Account products like Factoring, Supply Chain Finance etc.
Provide advise and consultation to Product Development Team with respect to Trade Finance activities in accordance with International Practices, ICC Publications, Local Rules and Regulations.
Responsible for marketing mashreq corporate online Banking platform and providing inputs in respect to developments and enhancements. Become first point of contact for the users for resolving problems related to these systems and training.
Ensure all procedures that are developed comply with Bank Policy and Guidelines.
Review customer complaints and take immediate action to satisfy them.
Ensure MBOs are achieved on time.
Job Requirements
Graduate with thorough and in depth understanding of Trade Finance products and corporate banking.
Thorough understanding of Trade & Supply Chain Finance and Financial Operating Systems.
Sound knowledge in General Banking.
A Minimum of 10 years experience in General Banking and Trade Finance.
Good Communication and interpersonal skills.
Well groomed with a confident outgoing personality. Banking operations and technology will be a plus point but is not a necessary pre-requisite.
