Job Description
SE’s Energy Automation Team is looking for a Technical leader with experience on OT Cyber Security design and implementation for Industrial/Electrical Automation Systems, primarily for Oil & Gas and Utility substations and/or Data Centers.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Participate in Project Launch/Kick-Off Meetings, Lead Technical Meetings.
Manage all Technical aspects of a project execution cycle : Design, Engineering, Software development, Procurement, FAT, Site Installation and Commissioning.
Development of collaborative and optimal solutions based on various SE platforms,
Preparation of Design documents, System Architectures, Material Submitals.
Lead technical discussions with Customer Engineers and ensure approvals, comments and issue resolution.
Govern the work of draftsmen, system and commissioning engineers during project execution if applicable.
Provide training to System Engineers on Software Tools.
Coordination and validation of vendors solutions when 3rd party systems are required to be integrated.
Devise and develop tools which can help in preparing a smart solution
Keep the quality as per standards during whole cycle of project.
Increase project profitability through design, resource and scope of work optimization.
Job Requirements
Excellent command of English Language (Both Spoken & Written); Arabic and French are an advantage
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering
Cyber Security Certification - ISA, GICSP,GXPN
Awareness of Cyber Security Management Program and Process
Awareness of Risk Assessment and Vulnerability Assessment
Knowledge on various cyber security standards and regulations – IEC 62443, NERC CIP, Local government regulations (NESA, QCS etc.
Experience on OT Cyber Security design and implementation for Industrial Automation Systems and Data Center with functional knowledge on (Access Control ,
Antimalware Management, Backup and recovery, Security log management, Patch Management, System hardening, network segmentation and perimeter security)
Knowledge on Cyber Security Solution and tools ( Firewall, routers, IDS , McAfee EPO, Symantech etc..WSUS, Active Directory, LDAP,RADIUS, B&R Solutions – Paragon, Acronics et..Syslog managers and SIEM)
Knowledge of Industrial communication protocols (Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, Profibus, OPC, IEC61850, IEC60870-5-101/104 ,DNP3)
UAE Driving License
Desirable Qualifications
Strong engineering background (7-10 Years) and excellent knowledge of electrical and power systems.
Experience in Substation Control & Monitoring Systems (preferably SCMS-PACiS) and Numerical Protection relays (preferably Micom & SEPAM Series) (7-10 years).
Experience in Saitel RTUs and other RTU systems.
Experience on Numerical Protection relays (non-Schneider).
Experience in Utility SCMS projects.
Experience with Electrical Operational software Systems ( GIS , DMS, OMS, AMI/MDM, Asset Management)
