Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
The incumbent is assigned to the Engineering Services Center (ESC) in Dubai, UAE. ESC is a field operation of the Office of Security Technology under the Bureau of Diplomatic Security.
ESC provides technical security support and services to posts in its respective geographic region. The employee manages ESC inventory and is responsible for supply chain management, logisitics operations, procurement, and inventory reconciliation of technical systems and equipment maintained by ESC at its post of residence and constituent posts throughout the region.
The employee also assists with office administrative duties, travel arrangements, and tracking the official travel budget.
The employee must posess or qualify for a Top Secret Security Clearance.
The position may require up to 20% travel, the employee will provide logisitical support to Cairo, Tel Aviv, Tunis, Abu Dhabi, and Rabat.
Job Requirements
U. S. Citizen Eligible Family Members (USEFMs) All Agencies
Completion of high school, secondary school or equivalent academic qualification.
At least one year experience in a customer service role in an office environment such as an office clerk, secretary, administrative assistant or working in a logistics field to include conducting annual inventories.
Level IV (fluent) English language (speaking, writing and reading) is required. (This may be tested.)
Due to the frequent requirement to move materials, the candidate must be capable of handling boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
