    Job Description

    Reporting to: Director of Human Resources

    ​The primary job responsibility is to provide career development and job search counseling to students and alumni for all University specilizations. work directly on graduate job placement through maintaining active relations with potential top employers; providing information and direction to students, parents, and administrators about career and educational services available

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Developing job descriptions and person specifications, posting job advertisements, checking application forms, screening, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates.​

    • Monitor recruitment requirement for each college and department and update recruitment plan​

    • Liaise with Heads of Colleges and departments regarding the open position and the availability of candidates​

    • Review and screen applications and candidates following selection criteria and only suitable candidates are selected for the interview stage.​

    • Facilitate the interview and selection process; conduct reference checks for faculty​

    • Document and review the results of interviews, ensuring adherence to University standards, including the maintenance of candidate’s database records, and correspondence of the Recruitment Application process​

    • Handle all recruitment related correspondence and respond to queries and applications to adverts appropriately and in good time.​

    • Identify the financial compensation for new hires/prospective candidates in compliance with established policies and procedures.​

    • Prepare employment offers and contracts for faculty​

    • Contacting new recruits for their clearance process​

    • Coordinate with the Public Relations Department in arranging for visas for overseas candidates​

    • Arranging trips/travel itineraries/flight and hotel bookings for visits, new recruits and events​

    • Send welcome announcement templates to all new hires (Faculty), on monthly basis​

    • Oversee insurance requirements for the employees and following up with the insurance company for medical claims and reimbursements.​

    • HR system auditing and coordinating with the Software Development Team with changes as and when needed.​

    • Provide reports/statistical/analytical information to Management on different matters​

    • Provide information and assistance to staff and faculty members on HR and work related issues​

    • Identifying training needs for different departments and contacting training centers for training and development needs of the staff​

    • Coordinating with various companies for staff discounts and benefits​

    • Oversee the faculty and administrative staff onboarding process​

    • Ensuring all necessary documents are available for the employee file and validating documents in the employee hard copy file and in the online portal HRMS.​

    • Provide employee services like employee letters, leave calculation, etc.​

    • Maintain proper records for suppliers like travel agents and hotel reservation team.​

    • Assisting the Payroll Division with needed reports for Payroll​
