Job Description
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for implementing quality assurance and continuous improvement guidelines across the organization focusing on the operations process and the supporting processes, liaises with departments to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction, work as a catalyst for continuous improvement through providing the tools and methods for evaluating, identifying and correcting any quality affecting parameter.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Develop set of standards and measurement tools to evaluate overall quality performance and provide statistical analysis to support the evaluation
Assist in the review of an internal business process with its owner, provide the necessary tools, standards or benchmarking if required
Maintain knowledge about the company mechanisms for continuous improvement, support the implementation and evaluate the effectiveness
Maintain a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards
Maintain knowledge of quality improvement tools and methodologies used in the industry
Job Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering/ Quality Control or a related field
5+ years of prior work experience with process / system quality improvements in a chemical industry setting
Must be certified in Lean Six Sigma (Master / Black Belt)
Thorough understanding of end-to-end operations in the chemical industry
Thorough understanding of ISO 9001 quality requirements
Strong project management skills, with experience in defining and implementing new processes
Strong statistical analysis
Job Specific Skills
Well-established computer skills in office productivity software such as Microsoft Office
Proven people management and leadership skills with ability to motivate and manage teams
Strong influencing capabilities especially in a multi-stakeholder environment
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written (business proficiency in English would be required)
