    To support dnata in the next stage of growth we are looking for an experienced project specialist who will work on a dynamic portfolio of projects across all functional areas with the key focus on RMS Programme. You will need to be able to demonstrate a strong track record of project delivery from inception through delivery to completion.

    You will need to be a team player and an excellent communicator and be able to deal with multiple projects and stakeholders from internal and external customers and have a can do attitude. Ideally you will have 5-8 years’ experience in project delivery role and have worked for a rapidly growing and fast paced environment where you have supported business that are dynamic and open to change and continuous improvement.

    In this role you’ll be responsible for delivery and implementation of the program plan under the RMS portfolio across all impacted departments within dnata UAE airport operations, including Airline Services and Cargo. Manage internal and external stakeholders including department heads, program team, internal and external customers, corporate teams and vendors.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Plan

    • Delivers and manages strategic work-streams within the RMS programme and enables implementation of the new system and process through the respective business projects and initiatives across dAO and Cargo operations, following best practices, standards and processes defined by the programme sponsor and programme manager, as well as departmental and corporate PMO guidelines

    • Organises multiple projects and priorities by designing and creating project plan, work breakdown structure, estimation of time and effort for the particular tasks or project and assigns resources accordingly if required

    • Influencing strategy by combining insights and recommendations into clear actionable plans with senior leaders

    • Ensures project plan is followed and deliverables are met; identifies risks and mitigation plan, recognises when alternative scenarios need to be considered and recommends alternative approach where necessary

    • Understands the role of a project and programme in the greater business context and reflects this in their day-to-day project management

    • Lead

    • Leads, inspires and motivates diverse and cross-functional team members, drives performance, and coaches/ supports individual stakeholders

    • Champions relationships across various team members and wider stakeholders to help drive business change and value

    • Acts as an SME and support, coach and develop others

    • Inspires team to remain focused despite challenges and setbacks

    • Deploy

    • Supports Programme Manager in proactive management of project risks and ensures associated mitigation strategies are designed and agreed with respective stakeholders

    • Assures effective and timely reporting and progress tracking within respective work-stream

    • Provides timely, appropriate and accurate project information and reporting to project sponsors and stakeholders and/or steering board members, as well as to other departments which may be affected by the project outcomes

    • Provides insight in the project area and pulls together best practices and SMEs to help drive solutions to problems Execute

    • Prepares presentations and other documentation which simplifies complex and technical content, tailors content and approach to suit target audience

    • Facilitates workshops with key stakeholders, vendors and employee groups and ensures documentation of the deliverables and actions

    • Provide credible direction and updates on the status of the Programme by exemplifying extraordinary communication and project management skills

    • Provides timely, appropriate and accurate project information and reporting to Project Sponsors and stakeholders and/or steering board members, as well as to other departments which may be affected by the project outcomes

    • Develops knowledge around Resource Management, Business and Industry Specifics and provides insight to the stakeholders to ensure effective application and utilisation of best practices and SMEs in defining new processes or solving problems

    Job Requirements

    • Professional experience: 5-8 years in project management, business improvement or productivity, management consultancy or technology

    • Graduate in quantitative discipline such as business administrations / IT /engineering / economics / science (preferred)

    • Certification in Lean and/or Six Sigma and/or PMP preferred

    • Certification in CAPM and/or PRINCE 2 Practitioner is a plus

    • Strong ability to influence a range of stakeholders, including senior executives, vendors and project team and ability to facilitate constructive dialogue and workshops

    • Ability to quickly grasp new business concepts and ethics, understand organizational issues and challenges and dependencies across businesses
