Job Description
As Senior Manager Material Planning you will lead the supply management function by defining and implementing departmental strategy and objectives in alignment with Etihad's overall strategy to ensure business requirements are met in the most effective and efficient manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Develop and cascade the supply management strategy and oversee the end-to-end logistics cycle to identify potential synergies and improvements cost saving opportunities
Lead ad hoc studies and report on on-going projects and plans (e.g. Supply Management?s savings delivery plan) to provide Etihad?s C-Level effective overview and insights of latest supply management updates and key decisions
Lead and oversee the end-to-end supply management cycle to identify potential synergies and improvements to be recommended to Etihad?s leadership
Liaise and coordinate with internal stakeholders and equity partners to define improvement and integrations strategies and processes to increase efficiency and reduce overall Group?s spending related to Supply Management processes
Lead strategic operations and process assessment initiatives to timely identify areas of improvement and support adoption of corrective actions
Lead stakeholder relationships within Etihad and its equity partners to identify synergy opportunities for operational improvement opportunities and cost saving initiatives
Define the team structure in coordination with HR and coach, counsel and motivate the section managers and the entire team to achieve set objectives in the supply management department
Approve supply management projects and initiatives to ensure department?s continuous improvement and to highlight and correct spending inefficiencies
Lead change management programmes, to minimize inefficiencies and costs for Etihad and to support the smooth introduction of new processes and procedures
Define, cascade and monitor implementation of supply management?s policies and procedures to ensure alignment with overall objectives and best practices? adoption.
Convey best practice supply management frameworks and methodologies to Etihad Airways employees working in the overall area of supply management
Job Requirements
Minimum Diploma (2 years or more).
Minimum of 15 years of work experience within relevant field.
