Henkel Egypt is currently seeking to hire a Safety, Health and Environment Specialist - 6th of October PlantDuties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Make sure the plant's Safety, Health and Environment is compliant with corporate standards & ISO requirements
Implement Safety, Health and Environment standards
Manage occupational Health program in line with Henkel Corporate guidelines
Assure compliance of the plant and tackle complaint from authorities
Promote, advise and assist in the development of close working relationships, with respect to Safety, Health and Environment issues, between the plant and all relevant authorities, agencies, local communities and third parties
Coordinate Safety, Health and Environment technical external training to plant employee in accordance with local requirement
Complete all investigation to avoid reoccurrence of incidents
Capture and manage risks of the site through structured development of Task Hazard Analysis and gap analysis
Organize internal Safety, Health, and Environment audits, walk around and coordinate among Technical functions the agreed action plans
Provide relevant expertise and supporting tools to all Henkel production operations in the area of Safety, Health and Environment and local compliance
Job Requirements
Bachelor degree in Science, Chemical Engineering or any similar studies
1 year of experience in an Industrial Environment in a multinationals organization
Fluent English
Proficient user of Microsoft Office Applications
Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
High self-motivation and initiative taking
Continuous Improvement attitude and behavior
Strong leadership & communication skills
