    Job Description

    Mercedes-Benz Egypt is currently recruiting for a Procurement Specialist who will be responsible for the following tasks

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

      Procurement Responsibilities

    • Review & Maintain Supplier database all current supplier documentation.

    • Performing Administrative Activities, performing day to day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.

    • Check market prices and prepare analysis with prices, availability and obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items and recommending alternatives and

    • Prepare & Maintain purchasing files.

    • Review and maintain inventory items by verifying stock; scheduling delivery when required.

    • Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error with suppliers.

    • Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents.

    • Build strong business relationships with suppliers

    • Collaborate with requesters to ensure the clarity of the specifications of the orders.

    • Take immediate action in case of any unacceptable delivered goods or services

    • Ensure the implementation of the Procurement Internal controls for the following reason:

    • Make sure that suppliers are complying with the contract terms and conditions of the contract

    • Sample review for the records of item based on the cost, delivery time, goods and service quality

    • Giveaways management & Centralization

    • Administration

    • Managing the ticketing system of Asset management dept

    • Mobile lines Handling

    • Prepare and submit Procurement and Insurance Orders.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration field or a similar degree in the same area of responsibility from a reputable university

    • 0-2 years of experience in related fields is required

    • Fluency in the English language

    • Knowledge of MS Office applications (PowerPoint-Excel-Word)
