Job Description
As a Duty Officer, you will be lead your team to deliver exceptional customer services to our customers at the station. You will ensure customer receive the award winning 5 star service.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Lead the team and oversee daily activities to ensure a high standard of service delivery
Establish the team objectives and priorities ensuring these are aligned to the business
Provide input and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the daily operation
Ensure all passenger and aircraft handling practices conform to safety and security measures
Conduct spot checks to ensure adequate standards are maintained and conduct audits with the handling company
Resolve customer complaints effectively liaising on a daily basis with all departments to provide resolution for complaint handling
Conduct briefing sessions for the shift
Compile a detailed station handling report
Prepare the monthly performance audit
Financial accountability across petty case expenditure
Job Requirements
You will hold Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 5 years job related experience in a supervisory level in Airline Operations/Aviation.
You will require proven knowledge and understanding of both Airport Operations and Passenger handling
You will have comprehensive knowledge about weight and balance, ramp handling and dangerous goods regulations.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong leadership skills, excellent negotiation/influencing skills as you oversee the daily operations on your shift, supporting and monitoring your colleagues, handling passengers concerns, with excellent English communication (written and spoken)
