Job Description
Sharjah Electricity & Water Authority SEWA is currently hiring a Legal Officer to provide professional & innovative legal advisory services for the finalization of contracts being entered into by the organization
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Providing all necessary legal support in overall scope of work for the contracts; right from drafting, review and till finalization of the contract
Ensuring finalized contracts comply with the local & international laws & follow international standards
Ensuring adherence to all the administrative procedures for the contracts
Perform any other appropriate tasks determined by the Senior Management
Job Requirements
University degree in Law (specialization in business/commercial-corporate laws)
Minimum 5 years of work experience in related field; previous experience in a similar role in UAE is preferred
Job Specific Skills
Excellent knowledge of legal framework and public administration structure & procedures
Ability to conduct legal research
Enthusiastic self-starter with ability to work unsupervised and decisively to provide sound & clear advice
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Ability to work in a team
IT Skills: Microsoft Office ; Internet Search and Retrieval
Fluency in spoken and written English
Good analytical and writing skills
