Job Description
Alahli Bank of Kuwait - ABK is currently recruiting for a Junior Trader who will Recommend, develop and implement investment strategies related to the fixed income securities owned by the Bank
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Manage ABK Egypt’s local and foreign currency securities portfolio in line with CBE regulations, the bank’s strategy, and internal limits and guidelines.
Track and analyze developments in the international bond market and their potential impact on the bank’s international bond portfolio and identify opportunities.
Track and project Treasury’s net interest income and communicate forecasts with management and relevant departments.
Ensure that the bank’s portfolios are updated at all times by reconciling with treasury back office and related parties.
Communicate opportunities and share relevant information with the team in a timely manner.
Job Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Related Discipline
Robust knowledge of fixed income products and Asset-Liability Management
Deep understanding of macroeconomic fundamentals and their impact on the bond market
Experience in Portfolio management
Experience of handling documentation and processes
