    The purpose of this role is to explain and facilitate the financial aid scholarships processes for ADU students

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Financial Aid Administration

    • Counsels prospective and currently enrolled students on financial aid policies, programs, procedures and appeals.

    • Receives and analyses financial aid, scholarship and sponsorship applications.

    • Verifies documents and maintains student generated information used to determine eligibility for financial aid awards.

    • Assists students with the completion of applications and other supporting documents.

    • Coordinates the delivery of student financial aid and the maintenance of student financial aid records.

    • Reviews financial aid applications to ensure that the criteria set by Zakat fund is met by the University before submitting to them for approval.

    • Receives sponsors’ notification for current and new students’ sponsorship status

    • Circulates notifications and updates from sponsors to students, Finance dept. , Admission dept. and Registration dept.

    • Processes documents through Zakat office when needed.

    • Covers the duties for the other staff during leave or absent.

    • Creates a data base every semester to support the FA manager with historical data.

    • Supports withdrawn students and Alumni with clearance papers.

    • Participates in Information session , Open Day, Exhibitions as needed

    • Manages community services reports for FA & Scholarships students

    • Administrative Support

    • Prepares purchase requisitions through the online system for procuring any items for the department.

    • Acts as the asset coordinator for the department by ensuring the assets are returned once the employee leaves and assigned when new employees join.

    • Maintains office filing system.

    • Creates, prepares and circulates mail and documents.

    • Maintains office inventory of forms and supplies.


    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting

    • 1 year work experience, experience in education sector preferred

    • English is a must, Arabic is preferred

    • Communication skills, Time Management, Customer Service, Analytical Skills, Accuracy, Organizational skills

    • Must have a valid UAE residency visa
