Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Implementation of General / Body & Paint Shop Kaizen Programs [Kodawari or Parts Kaizen or EM] - Promoter of TMC & Support AFM Programs
Sustainment of TMC/AFM Program Standards through Periodic branch audit/evaluation.
Support Business Specific Projects/Needs to improve customer satisfaction or operation standards.
Conduct time and motion study, analyse it at both Macro and Micro level, and develop process improvement proposal.
Develop flow charts related to current process and go to state to explain how the process can be made more efficient.
Organize small group activities to provide training to associates and gather their feedback to initiate improvement activities across the business.
Compilation & creation of reports to visual status of activities
Focus on Kaizen objective Maximum benefit with Zero (minimum) cost
Actively participate in all Kaizen activities and promote Al Futtaim values
Comply with company and distributor policy towards achievement of objectives and targets.
Complete focus on the management and implementation of Kaizen objectives in the operations. This involves bringing about a culture change across the brand at all levels.
Support orientation, training and coaching of team to achieve workplace efficiency and safety
Establish communication across all departments and divisions and to foster understanding and consensus
Job Requirements
2 – 5 years (preferably in After Sales).
Preference – Experience of Toyota Kaizen programmes.
Ability to think ‘Out of Box’
Ability to learn new programmes and later implement it.
Ability to maintain fair, consistent set of standards
Ability adjust priorities and structure time wisely in a fast paced environment
Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner and listen attentively to others to understand material, and provide instructions to all employees.
